Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Orosfort Private Limited (CIN U36996TN2022PTC156746), Chennai, India (“StatementDock”, “we”, “us”), for your use of statementdock.com and its converter (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you use it for a business, you accept them for that business.

1. The Service

StatementDock provides an online converter that turns bank statement PDFs into Excel, CSV and Tally Prime files. It runs in your web browser. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

  • You sign in with a Google account, or with an email address and password. You must be 18 or older.
  • Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your StatementDock account.
  • One account is for one person. Don’t share your sign-in.

3. Free use and limits

The converter has a free limit, shown on the pricing page (currently 10 pages a day). We may change free limits; the current limits are always on the pricing page.

4. Paid plans

  • The StatementDock Pro and other paid plans give access for the period shown at purchase. Prices are listed on the pricing page and the final amount, including taxes, is shown at checkout.
  • Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo sells the plan to you, processes the payment and issues the invoice. Dodo’s buyer terms apply to the payment.
  • Plans don’t renew automatically. When a plan ends, your account goes back to the free limits until you buy again.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices for future purchases. A change doesn’t affect a plan you’ve already paid for.

5. Check your output

The converter reads files automatically and can make mistakes, for example with unusual statement layouts. The converter checks rows against the statement balance and flags differences, but you are responsible for checking the output before you use it in your books, in Tally, in a GST return or in any other filing. StatementDock is a software tool. It does not give accounting, tax or legal advice.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or with files you have no right to process
  • try to get around usage limits, for example with multiple accounts or automated requests
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, or scrape it
  • interfere with the Service’s security or performance

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close a paid account for a reason that isn’t your breach, we’ll refund the unused part of the plan.

7. Your content

Files you process stay on your device, and the output belongs to you. Settings you save (client names, ledger names, mapping rules) remain yours; you let us store them only to provide the Service.

8. Our content

The StatementDock name, logo, website and software belong to Orosfort Private Limited. These terms don’t give you any right to them except to use the Service.

9. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause it for maintenance.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • The Service is provided “as is”.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, penalties, interest or the cost of correcting books or returns.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that can’t be limited by contract.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@statementdock.com. Sections 5, 7, 8, 10 and 12 continue after your account ends.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to resolve the issue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
