Kotak Mahindra Bank doesn’t publish the password format for account statement PDFs on its website. The password most commonly reported is your CRN (Customer Relationship Number). Some people report their date of birth as DDMMYYYY instead. The statement email is the most reliable guide.
What to try, in order
- Your CRN (Customer Relationship Number), the number you use to log in to Kotak net and mobile banking.
- Your date of birth as DDMMYYYY.
- The instruction in the statement email itself.
How to get your Kotak statement
- Kotak Mobile Banking: Banking → Account Statement, then choose the duration and Email or Post.
- Net Banking: Banking → Service Request → New Service Request → Account Statement, then choose the duration and mode.
- Website, no login: Kotak’s statement page lets you verify with an OTP and have the e-statement emailed.
- WhatsApp: register with a missed call to 9718566655 from your registered mobile. Kotak’s WhatsApp banking number is 022 6600 6022.
Kotak says email statements are sent the same working day and physical statements within 7 working days.
If it still won’t open
- Check you’re using the CRN, not your account number.
- Request the statement again by email, and read the note in that email.
- Contact Kotak if neither works.
